SHRC puts together their annual budget every year, beginning in January/February. The process takes months to complete, with a final Budget Hearing and Revenue Neutral Rate Hearing taking place in August/September. The budget is submitted to the State of Kansas, the Spring Hill School District, City of Spring Hill, and County Clerk offices.
