Spring Hill Recreation Commission - Social Media Engagement Policy

The Spring Hill Recreation Commission (SHRC) uses social media platforms to inform, engage, and interact with the Spring Hill, KS community. We encourage positive participation and welcome your comments, questions, and feedback. To maintain a respectful and family-friendly environment for all users, the following policy applies to all official SHRC social media accounts.
Community Guidelines
We encourage public engagement that is:
- Respectful and courteous
- On topic and relevant to the post
- Constructive and appropriate for a public, family-oriented setting
Content That May Be Deleted Without Warning
To ensure our pages remain a safe and inclusive space, SHRC reserves the right to remove any comments or posts that include:
- Hate speech, discriminatory or derogatory remarks based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected status
- Threats, harassment, bullying, or personal attacks
- Profanity, obscene language, or graphic content
- Misinformation, spam, or advertisements unrelated to SHRC
- Repeated off-topic or disruptive comments
- Promotion of illegal activity
We may also block or report users who repeatedly violate these guidelines.
Moderation Notice
Our pages are monitored regularly during normal business hours. SHRC staff will use their discretion when moderating content to protect the integrity of our programs and community.
